    I did some testing, and protons striking polonium apparently turn it into plutonium. So it's possible that the protons directly create polonium, which are then immediately struck by another proton and turned into plutonium in the same frame. Possible.

    nevermind, i got a single piece of molten polonium somehow, but i'm sure it's normal. Also, I have learned that if you hit plutonium with protons, there's noble gas, co2, oxygen, and occasionally plasma

    plutonium can decay into uranium after a reaction, as for the polonium i haven't seen any in spite of massive proton input
