    well a possible solution for these problems (to solve the jet thing) is to modify the jet engine by turning the air intakes for liquid oxygen pipes that feed the jet engine and replace the fuel with rocket fuel.

    if you ever played ksp you probably know that jet engine need oxygen and orbit is in space and space has no oxygen

    but then the fans will probably melt and if you have materials strong enough to survive the heat it will probably be too expensive to be practical and/or be too heavy
