Coder4Christ: I meant radiation as in slow long doses that the body can get used to and yes studys have shown that humans and other animals can adapt to radiation a little but not enough to protect them substantially

By the way, I didn't mean to be rude, I was just stating a few facts. The art is good, and the fantasy seems to be heavily Fallout inspired, and Fallout doesn't always make sense. I'm that guy who writes 12 paragraph book reviews on Kindle, so yeah, I do long form stuff. I'm not ranting when I write large blocks of text.

For a science-fantasy world, it's pretty decent, but I have to assume the creatures living aren't human.

Radioactivity is basically tons of stray Protons, Neutrons, etc. that occasionally pierce a cell in your body. Usually the cell just dies, which doesn't change much. But sometimes the cell mutates, and causes cancer. This isn't something you can adapt to.

Humans are weak, and would succumb before they had time to adapt. They wouldn't want to fight over this wasteland, they would want to get away as quickly as possible, and thus maximize their chances of survival.

So far only a few species of bacteria can really do that.
