Good and interesting saves are decided by the upvotes. If a save gets upvoted enough times shortly after it's uploaded, it has a good chance to get to the front page. In my experience this is purely by chance and depends most on the time of day people are playing. If a save is bad, although if it reached the front page, it gets downvoted to oblivion and very shortly disappears into the abyss. This is clearly an interesting save, because it is still on the front page. +1
