Umm Freelance exploration parties will be sent out, and some small fortified crop towns will be constructed wherever possible. Black powder is yet unavailable, sulfur is as usual the vital component, the location of which is unknown. You have access to a plentiful supply of fruit and marine animals, however the botanical make-up of the surrounding jungles is largely inedible and poisonous. Also you are in the early medieval era xd, iron is already available in refined format. -

Begin sending out explorers and start setting up forward supply bases to both gather resources/food and to begin expansion efforts. Invest in basic canones/ships. Start building farms and grow whatever is the most nutritious. Set up basic cleared paths and pay people in food to clear them. Take a rock, put it on a stick with some rope made of twines or something. Start to set up mines and try to get iron, once we do put it over a flame and heat it until it is hot and make very basic iron tools, -
