  begin to construct metal reinforced canoes, intensify quarrying and mining, search for new, useful metals send more canoes to the islands to the south and east to colonise. build large forge distructs in my capital where metals will be brought directly from the mines to be turned melted and forged. look for useful beasts of burden and research basic carts and wheels. further expand to the south and east and add more, sea based deities to the sea based religion.

  Try inovative methods to adapt to the wasteland, encourage more civilians to join the army. Expand territory towards the coastline my sending exploration teams along with armed troops . Intensify mining in the newly gained territories.Invest in basic weapons like bow and arrows ,axes and non conventional grenades. Set up more miltary camps. Increase the livestock such as goats ,hens .

You will be able to better construct advanced farming systems on the mainland, where space is plentiful for crop fields. A surplus of farm products will be tallied and redistributed.
