Long awaited, the next in my Remembrance saves. The total number of people enslaved during the 400 year long timespan was well into the tens of millions and comprised mostly those of African descent. Its effects still bleed into today. Don't unpause.

Some notes: This does not chronical every major event during the TST. The American Civil War was primarily about the institution of slavery. Colonization, while not the sole cause of slavery, was a significant factor in its economics and system. The TST was unique from previous insitutions of slavery in its scale, industrialization, and justifications. African nations' participation in slavery does not perclude the characterization of racism in the institution. -- -
