    You can build ships however you feel most comfortable. You can definately make a decorated hull or elaborate cut-out, but it need not be as intricate as this one. Or you could focus more on arms and armor, designing destroyable but tough layered armor and swapping simple bray guns for more exotic weapons. As long as you put in effort and making something that others can play with (and possibly destroy), it is all good!
