    What if you made a pack of biomachines that work similar to wolves. That would be kinda scary if for some reason your exploring the planet on foot and see a group of biomachines.

    Possibly the origin of these creatures was that many many years ago, there was a highly intelligent race, and the wanted to experiment with biomachines. They made some for defense, but when the race died off or left the planet because of harsh enviroment, the biomachines were left, and are hostile because they are trying to defend.
