I recently photographed the galaxy, and thought i'd try to draw it here (again), although my photo isn't even near as detailed and zoomed in as this, lol.. I tried to make this as accurate as possible, but the stars are, well, not accurate.

We will never reach it. Lightyear is the distance that light travels for one year and it is impossible to travel faster. Our nearest star is about 4 light years away,while Andromeda Galaxy is 2 000 000 light years away. -

They're outside the galaxy though. Most of the space outside a galaxy is just open void until the next galaxy. -
