    I'm going to assume that, since it wasn't likely anyone saw the setup, at least one person tried to remove the head and got impaled by the traps. Let that serve as an omen to any who would think of defying the gods.

    The Promethean will display the emperor's head on a stick. The stick will be boobie trapped to kill anyone who tries to take it down. The Promethean will be waiting in the throne room, on the throne, for anyone who dares come challenge the gods.
