    Your magic works on the faith of your people. If you were to label the promethean as a demon then you could imprison it or perhaps banish it. Though due to its otherworldly nature it would be very difficult. I imagine this was vamps plan all along.

    You'd better hope that the Promethean doesn't die... like your emperor. Promethean soldiers are implanted with hypermutagenics that cause their bodies to necrometamorphosize into xenotypical cadaver errata upon death. It would impregnate and devour all your people within hours, forming a xenomorph colony. Your current weapons are 100% ineffective against xenomorphs.

    That's something the weapon check might have revealed... If that is the case, then the Promethean will confiscate (or steal) as much gunpowder as it can and create makeshift grenades. This may take some time.
