Each piece is being inspected for spores or shrooms, so far none. Within the wreckage your men have found a massive network of caverns and passages/ducts to explore. Random junk, equipment, and even a few working terminals have been found scattered throughout the known precincts.

It impacted the desired coordinate area but not exactly, it landed several dozen miles off but still within reasonable accuracy. The gigantic explosion incinerated the orks assaulting Alien's territory but also created a huge forest fire and sharp shockwave that wrought destruction upon a large part of the Vatican capital territory. Allied troops were informed of the firing and took cover to avoid the blast.
