Bigger and tougher than the Platyparian Space Cruiser, the Monotreme Class Battleship features the latest in Platyparian space warfare technology. Time to go push some weaker spacefaring nations around!... As long as they don't destroy the reactor...

(also also, im not trying to take anything away from this, i really like it and it's design, just throwing some ideas out for ships)

(i do also look into destroyable materials still, but atm i'm still reaching for protection against CRAY, DRAY and my new Piston based tech). In terms of upgrading the defences while still being destroyable, you could add a HEAC mesh to distribute heat faster and prevent melting single sections. You could also use LIFE elements to get absolute 0 temperatures and use those as heat sinks. They won't work against the 8000oC + Ambient heat producing bombs, but it's still gunna be decent

That unspoken agreement is great until some chad comes along with DEST and is like LULLL YOUR SHIP GETS REKT BY DEST. So, i personally disregard the no indestructables and watch those people cry. Still, i really like the design of this ship, and as far as destroyables go it's up there. Some ideas you could look into would be (as SuperRyn said) proton beams, virus spreaders and maybe even attractor/repulser beams for tearing some things appart

Eholeless CONV materials that do not have some way of absorbing particles can be "rusted" by compressed particles like PROT and GRVT, and that is why i suggested a PROT gun, because it would rust the bunkium

@SuperRyn I'm flattered that you even considered this ship worthy of testing against your Bunkium! Yeah, I don't even dream of designing a weapon to penetrate it, but if I had to, I probably would try to use PROT. Fortunately, there is sort of an unspoken agreement in the TPT ship-building community against using armor based on CONV, VOID, or other materials that can't be destroyed by either heat pressure fire. So the Li-Bray guns are normally sufficient :)

So you should probs add like a compressed prot cannon that has a huge delay for destroying bunkium.

If you spam every single weapon aganist a thin wall of Bunkium, the ship will damage itself because it would be set on fire from the recoil, while the bunkium would not be breached very much. Infact, the weapons on the top were destroyed by the fire from the recoil, while the front was always on fire.

Goo cannon? I'm not familiar with that type of weaponry. Where can I find an example? I put some goo in front of the ship as a test, and it only seemed to impair function if the goo prevented the li-bray beams from spawning at all. I also haven't been able to replicate the gel or shield generator problems. Let me know so I can develop countermeassures!
