The Jotunn feast heavily upon the meat of dragons, and celebrate by killing each other. 1000 Jotunn aree killed by the celebration, then also eaten. They now return home, but go the wrong way and end up going toward the alpines.

All the dragons on the island are dead. 53 were killed. They were the only ones there and none were seen leaving.

As they come closer, they abandon throwing spears and instead begin veating the dragons with bare fists and permafrost clubs. Dragon scales rip and bones break beneath the savagery. Spears are only used when dragons fly. This leads to slower, but more painful and satisfying deaths of the dragons.

The first dragon is spotted. Hundreds of permafrost spears fill the sky as they fling towards their targets. They have dreamed of this, and nothing but this moment, for 50 years since the first dragon attacked their villages.

The first wave reaches the island. Their feet burn as they step onto the igneous rocks, but they push on, in blind rage. Ass more Jotunn pour onto the island, the rocks cool and begin to crack from the cold shock. Tremors shake the island as cracks widen and the pounding of thousands of giant feet shake the earth.

The Jotunn, having built up their numbers and their rage and trained all Summer, explode upon the coldening. Their powers are booosted bu the Winter and doubled by their rage. They expand rapidly toward the volcanic island by the thousands. Ice engulfs the sea with every footstep. Theey ride Mumakil and bear mighty spears of permafrost. Their barbaric screams of war fill the sky for miles.

Ice head scouts sent into the desert return with information that the deserts are rich in in cacti that can mostly be harvested for water. Also there are many exotic creatures there that private collectors would pay a hefty price for.
