    Germany reunited. Germany was able to preobrozovat economy of the GDR and FRG, Germany had no problems in the economy. After the collapse of the USSR, all post-Soviet economies were in chaos. Since the entire economy of the USSR rested on the republics, after their collapse it was very difficult to keep them in a stable state. In many post-Soviet straning a while was a mess. But, now it has recovered. But the main problem of post - Soviet countries is Dictatorship.
