    make a salt factory in the thick forest lands and boil the water using the wood from there however if i can replant the trees

    Mostly your people are either raising cows and pigs on their own farms, and hunting deer and boar in the wild

    You are able to get some sea-salt but it isn't being made in enough to get your people and your troops both hooked up with salt what both of them are liking

    Your roads are now being made out of gravel, altho they are quite advanced your people aren't, and you can't really supply 500 troops for more than a couple hundred miles inland due to the lack of food that wouldn't spoil
