  After a closer inspection of the food it appears that some of your troops are eating wild berries they have found what appear to severly poison them to the point of death, not a fast death either

  Oh, and announce to all the men that nobody is to drink from the rivers or streams, nobody is to eat any fruit or edibles that they find in the forest. We are now using the reserve food supplies.

  Hmm, purge the camps of any rodents or small insects. Use mossy wood to create excessive smoke to drive away fleas and other pests. Cauterize all wounds my soldiers have, and hold all metal tools over the fires to disinfect them. Inspect all the food supplies for mold or worms.

  MT, your eastern expansion is going fine for now, but on the southern expansion there have been a few problems: some of your patrols when your troops took up camp have dissapeared, some have died to plague, in total about 1100 troops have died
