I wouldn't consider it quantum, but it technically is since photons are fundamental particles. Also; quantum binary works similarly to binary, so you have know how to count in binary to use this save.

    Benjamin_C_2007: electrons may be quantum, but they alone are not used to store information. These photons are. I never said that the photons being quantum were the ONLY reason this is a quantum computer.

    If you call a save you make a quantum computer people will expect the type with probabolistic qbits. And if the people don't get the thing that was expected, they won't like it.

    Then I guess my laptop is a quantum computer because electrons are quantum particles.
