I made a computer again. It can do a lot of stuff the previous one couldn't and still can't do a lot of stuff I'd like it to be able to do. It definitely can solve quadratic equations. Check the relevant forum thread too. And try tpt.setfpscap(2)!

    To answer the ALU question, read the manual. And the column being read stays where it is, it doesn't go anywhere. The RAM has 129 columns including the empty one.

    I have a question about the ALU. Does it do the standard operations (and,or,xor,not,add,sub,Inc and dec) or something different

    There's no "official way", however there is a protocol that peripherals follow; this is explained in the manual. And no, I didn't use any simulator software. I used pencil and paper.
