    Another tricky element: what about LIFE formations that will "die" wihout particles surrounding them? like a cross that will try to turn to a circle then to nothing

    how about making temperature sensor, that destroying ship with sing if temp => 1K K* and using filt as a shield? it will can be destroyed by heat.
