Besides, it's what I'm accustomed to.
Registers, in my experience, at least, help keep code organized, short, and quick (once you have everything set up). There's only enough room in an instruction parameter for 16 different values, and I'd feel odd reserving a section of addressed memory for such things.
Also, yay for the first smallest 16 bit computer ever!
Is the seperation of registers and ram necessary? its still memory. (in case you are wondering, I did this as well, and in my design it was actually a mistake, because in TPT it doesnt really benefit to have registers). +1 btw
Well, it was an on/off project. The 4 week period just marks the time elapsed from start to finish. But, everyone has their leisure time, yeah?
