  getting into the corn trade with workers and fields that already have expirience, a second city is built by an enterprising group of people tired of the companies and there corrupt games and political schemes, and sets itself as independant on Northern Grain land

  *sigh* private police and private courts give justice to the one with the most moneym and very little moraliy exists in the prescence of large sums of cash. the board of directors support the decision to annex Eastern Corn because they belive they can make alot more money

  The hostile takeover itself is impossible, as one company cannot realistically fight every other company. If the CEO is an idiot, then he/she is removed by the board of directors, who have a significant amount of money invested in the company. I really shouldn't have to specify that my people create a service where a demand exists, and if private policing has been established, that includes private courts.

  kevin, i make the events not you, the companies do try to epose corruption in each other, this turns into a smear war that causes the peoiple to mistruyst all the companies, the hostile takove still happens because the CEO of Northern Grain is an idiot, and no national court exists as of yet

  Because the free market exists, the "hostile takeover" does not happen because spending huge amounts of money to subjugate other corporations is unprofitable, especially when every one of your rivals is going to take it as an opportunity to sue you in court, causing your assets to be siezed by banks with prior agreements with the private court systems.

  Companies begin looking for corruption in their rivals, exposing it to the public to take down other companies. They also begin to bury and eliminate past evidence of corruption to prevent rivals from using the same tactic on them.

  the north grain company of ancapistan has made alot of money from grain production using as of yet unknown secrets, and has sent security forces into the neighborring eastern corn company, absorbing it in a quite literal hostile takeover, reducing the number of companies in the confederation to 4, and throwing off the balance of power in the Ancspistan 'state'
