This is the abandoned Energia launch vehicle with the Buran spaceplane attached. Produced by the Soviet Union in 1984, it was designed to surpass the NASA Space Shuttle, they thought it was a military weapon. The Buran program lasted from 1974 to 1993.

    @Morgoth Although I can only move the 3 right 'docking structures', can't seem to move the left one attached to the central core without it looking awkward.

    @Morgoth I'm really considering adding this idea, would you like to be credited in the save? Because I just tested it out, and it works AND looks good.

    @Morgoth Hm. I'll try experimenting with that later. Do you mean that the 'docking structures' will slide into the towers, something like that?

    First of all, plus 1! Then maybe you could change the type of the Docking structures in prot and setting vx=-1 for the right one and vx=1 for the left ones, then activating pvoid on the tower to cancel them, just an original Idea for you

    Holy crap this is absolutely incredible.. i was working on something similar to this with the Saturn V, but it was way smaller and i got bored before i finished it. +1 and fav'd, please make LOADS more like this!

    space_powder: Unfortunately, mods can't rename saves, but it's fine, I once made a save with a typo in the title under my old account, it got to the front page and it was too late to re-upload it under a different name.
