Batumkh Gompa is the Anti-Tractionists holy city, built mostly up the back of the great shield-wall, nestled in amongst the thawed himalayan mountains, a curious mix of religion and millitary firepower, it protects the last green place on planet earth.

  just make sure you blow it up using an ancient nuclear lightning-snake weapon. that would defninitely go well.

  @REALkittyAndCats yeah sory about that :/ i find that a lot of my work is wayy too weak for most bombs. but i'd rather it looked nice than was invincible plus, if it's fragile it means you can blow it up in more interesting ways with single-pixel bombs)

  @TheArchitect actually i'm working on that one right now :D the spires are caused by ancient volcanoes being eroded by glaciers. in the world of mortal engines the volcanoes were created by mega weapons in the 60 minute war destabilizing the tectonic border that is the himalayas, then over the centuries as the ice melted off them, it formed glaciers which eroded the soft sedimentary rock and left the hardened cores of the volcanoes as dramatic spires.
