    to be honest the Americans would have won the war without the Russians because big wars always in the end come down to who has the most bullets and who has the most soldiers to take the bullets not who was the best bullets. in short or small wars the best bullets win. but ww2 was not a short or small war. the Japanese thought that if they fought hard enough quick enough they would be able to at least be able to bargain. but they made some slip ups that turned it in to a long war, so they lost because they didn't have the industrial base to fight a long war. it would have taken twice as long for America to win ww2 with out the help of the Russians. because they drew away bullets from the American front and America still needed to fight the Japaneses in the pacific which trended out to be hard enough on its oun even if later on there leaders turned out to be rat bastards. now and days though we need to be respectful of other countries and there peoples and put behide us what has hapend in the past.

    @dog2 i am a american but you are talking about 2 different fronts and if the Soviet Union it would be way more difficult for the US and GB to win the war because all the Soviets did at the time is throw their troops on to the battlefield (look at there loses) and @markis2000 It's extremely ignorant to say Americans are stupid.
