And secondly, communication: Perhaps caused by the same effect, people often misuse ASCII emoticons, terms and abbreviations. A very prominent example is "lol". While initially meant to express extreme amusement, it degraded over time to a "filler" word with no meaning. The same happened with many things. In a place where only text conversation is possible, terrible misunderstandings are frequent. And the misuse of aforementioned text elements only amplifies that.

Anonymity: As people believe they cannot be tracked when acting on the internet, they behave more freely. This wouldn't be bad if certain individuals or groups hadn't abused this seeming anonymity. Offending content started developing with the accessibility of new technology. This seems to apply to this game aswell, where the community is spoiled by, and here I use this term appropriately, "noobs". I.e. those who are incompetent and /do not improve/, the latter being the difference to "newbs".

On a more general scale, it is alarming how internet terms are misused. This includes the totally inappropriate use of "noob" of some, but also "lol", "XD" and similar. ASCII emoticons, terms and abbreviations that were initially invented for ease and accuracy of conversations over the internet now become the opposite more and more.
