    @Powder just saying you need to build forts to train troops and you need town's and workshops to supply them with manpower and "production" basically guns

    I build a port in italy, 50 ships, and 5 towns. I also train 100 soldiers/Event/I send 2 of my ships up the western coast of italy, making sure they keep their distance.
