Couple things to say: @The8BitPotato, lol, im also resorted to using older tech, for example in this parts save (id: 2031286). It would be really nice of @Schmolendevice if he came out with his subframe tutorials. @slasher98, it IS facsinating how there is this minature universe in TPT, with REALLY technical/scientific "factions", such as bomb/reactor/model makers, artists, and our own electronics community. @LBPHacker, it would be AWESOME if you came out with a C compiler for your CPUs. Fun!!!!
When someone writes a simple high level language compiler or interpreter for this computer + screen/keyboard device combo, I swear, I'll learn it just to be able to use this piece of gold.
The powder toy has turned into its own little universe. This is amazing. Also, we should isolate the limiting factors here and upgrade acordingly.
Subframe FILT electronics, yeah, those can be complicated.
In other words, subframe itself is a relatively simple idea. Think about sparks. Sparks are relatively simple, they just propagate from one conductor to another. Yet people build all kinds of crazy stuff with it. Subframe is much the same. It's just an idea that has a ton of use cases.
Not that things like this are simple and easy-to-build, just that they can be understood if examined.
@The8BitPotato Subframe is difficult, but most of it is fairly simple to understand if you learn the basics. Things like particle order, CONV, DRAY, etc. With subframe, not only is the thing you're trying to spark important, the way you spark it is. Its relative positioning can affect the whole thing.
@ToothlessNightFury Yeah, I'm still using FILT/ARAY/INST style electronics, I can't make heads or tails of this subframe stuff. xD
Sam S. Smith saw substansial seashell sellers selling substansial scarlet swirly seashells seaward.
