    @Anonym8 Imagine an entire society of digitally uploaded humans existing within an enormous network of machines. Now imagine the sheer scale of computational power required if you wanted to give all those people a world similar to our own without sacrificing noticable detail, and further if you wanted the machine running it all to be capable of fixing itself and expanding further.

    @anonym8 Nothing a little nuke can't mess up. Even if the nuke doesn't go off on its surface, the emp would still knock out its circuitry.

    I'm curious, what kind of tasks can planetary supercomputers do? Even with modern technology, a supercomputer made as big as a planet is extremely OP
