    After the food is gathered, i leave in on the table in my house and leave a note on the table near the food, "For Santa. -Nathan", then i go to sleep.

    I cook the fishes i caught and eat them to get my hunger lowered to 10%, after hunting i go to catch more fishes, but this time near a bigger lake where hordes of them are swimming around as i predict.
