Based on my "MERC vs. ACID" save, I have added some deco to simulate a pattern of waves and sea foam. This only works for a few seconds, but has a very asthetically pleasing effect.

    Advice: Make quality saves. Draw straight lines, use more elements, add more details, use less exclamation marks, use more realistic graphics, and spend more time on your saves.

    Hence the "only works for a few seconds". Consider it extreme global warming.
