Doing a quick test with DUST, I measured how far your engines pushed it in a frame three times then took the average. To start this off, you engine is rated at a little less than 15.7 Lz. Congratulations!
And to Mr S. Lizard, if you could pioneer a standardized engine rating system for TPT, you'd have made my day. I've got an ISOZ engine I just finished that I want to test fire. You could relate it to how fast it pushes away a piece of dust or something. Measure the x-velocity (with gravity off) and then you'd have a base speed, say 5px/frame. Maybe we could call it the Lizard, where one Lizard (Lz) is equal to 1px/frame. Simple.
It's rare to see someone who enjoys Star Trek like I do. And pasta. I think TheArcitect is myself in 10 years time when I finally realise that the key to happiness in not money, but lots of money. Oh and good company. That's always a good one to have.
somewhere between 12 and 60 :)
Well, gents. I will see you all tomorrow.
And commenting. I absolutely adore commenting.
I love Star Trek, Doctor Who, XKCD, Cardboard Crack, sandbox games, music, and fancy physics stuff.
I don't take anything very seriously, but I am philosophical. In regards to sleep, food, and drink, I can go for a long time without them, then drain a whole liter of something, eat a huge salad, and take a 3-hour nap, and I would be fine. I have few friends, and most people love me or hate me.
