Dioxygen difluoride sounds harmless, right? Just 2 of what you breathe and 2 of what's in your toothpaste. But that's not the case. 'Foof' is the most powerful oxidizer known to man - it even causes ice to burst into flame.

+Bwizz245 Maybe he meant Hydrogen Chloride????

@Sandwhichlizard Hydrofluoric acid isn't strong enough to melt human tissues, you're probably thinking of some other acid.
-
Actually, Chlorine Triflouride (three fluoride bonded to a chlorine atom) Is the best oxidizer known to man.
-
No there is actualy anti-matter it's unstabel, expesive and dangerous
-
Sorry... Dihydrogen Oxide
-
Guys... The most dangerous chemical to ever exist has been Hydrogen Dioxide...
-
*(to everyone's comments about other dangerous chemicals)* yeah stuff like that is dangerous but foof makes pretty much everything explode immediately.
-
It could also be an onomatopia. when ice bursts into flame it goes FOOF

@Weretyu777. yes but hydroflouric acid will soak right thru your flesh and dislolve your bones. I used to work for a manufacturer of frequency control devices with a quartz resonator. we used HF to etch structures into the quartz and that was one of the talking points in the safety instruction.

Dihydrogen monoxide is only seriously dangerous if in the lungs in large amounts. It is safe if ingested, and is in fact necessary to survival.
