Using layering and setting the ctype of sprk I managed to build a highly destructive lightning gun wich obliterates anything and is highly piercing.

    you have to change the type of a particle to sprk and then set its life high. Setting its c-type you determin into what it will turn into once the life runs out or it contacts prot. To cause the ligh spawned to strike you also have to set the sprk's tmp2 to 4. Feel free to use this technique as you like.

    By using "!set tmp sprk" you can change the direction it fires.
