I also launch 5 space 'tugs' which will maneuver the large parts of the soon-to-be-built Martian expansion ship that will take civilization to Mars :) I aim to build 3 of these to fit my entire population onto and begin launching the first parts now (the tugs, engines and fuel tanks along with personnel to assemble them)

i begin searching for extraterrestrial life, i send sonar pulses out into space that will reflect off of carbon-dioxide rich atmospheres, essentially helping to find aliens that have/are released/realeasing carbon-dioxide into the air

Also Novus hover technology is lagging far behind in development, which essentially results in a precarious situation in which troops cannot be directly deposited on the ground, and have to be dropped with carriers onto a planet.
