I build research centres focusing primarily on their dialect and communication, I launch 1 satellite dedicated to tracking their positions and radio signals where possible. Don't plan on blowing them to shit just yet :P anyway away for the weekend, I begin pushing my people back into the mainland and strongly pushing West to take territory

sorry to say, long-guy, but to make thing's reallistic, humans will be far from being able to sucessfully creating force-fields at this point, only the novus republic can use them.

@boomtish Actually, let Kevino defend. No alien civilization just suddenly appears on Greenland, the whole fun of actually being aliens is creating a huge conflagration in the upper atmosphere of a planet and having its inhabitants watch awestruck as your forces begin to land. Besides, if I just started on Greenland then I wouldn't really be an alien society.....
