  matty, 02102 you unfortunately also have forgotten that the solar system isn't 2 dimensional. Etruria could be above or below the ecliptic plane and that whole orbit thing would be gone to bollocks. Worth trying though.

  Anywhoo, I research use of fission in an engine as if this were to work then an extremely small amount of fuel would be needed for launches and long hauls

  Novae, unfortunately you haven't thought about orbits. Here comes some science XD ok so at some point the planet you orbit will orbit the sun, and at some point your transmissions will have to be sent past the sun (where my satellites are) because of the position of the planet you orbit, you must go past the sun at some point. I will show this in a save :)

  Also for now, I'm going to stick with researching and constructing even more larger and powerful engines, in order to ensure that the newer larger series of Novus warships being constructed are fast enough to cross the asteroid belt and into the inner solar system in a timely manner.

  I love how you're trying to like intercept signals and stuff, but the point of the dirty bomb shroud is to block detection forms such as radar that come from inside the inner solar system and exit it then come back to the inner solar system. Novus high command transmissions are being sent out of the solar system xD, not into it lol. I don't think Etruria is inside the inner solar system.....
