As such, Field Command has ordered civilian transmissions to be bounced off an asteroid outpost before heading to Earth so as to ensure that Etruria's location is not calculated. Following this, Field Command temporarily pauses civilian channels and broadcasts an urgent message which contains a modified/encrypted Etrurian alphabet, several diagrams of elements (hyrdogen, helium, etc.), and their modified/encrypted spellings.

I develop a new weapon, called the Iron Curtain 2.0. It's basically a small nuke surrounded by iron pellets, which vaporize when the nuke goes off and leaves behind a cloud of superheated iron particles. Any ship passing through this cloud is immediately bombarded by tiny micrometoride-like bits of iron, except they're at several thousand degrees centigrade.

Well, darn. Looks like the aliens are going to invade again. I continue building new fusion-driven warships, with the latest in railgun, laser, EMP and nuclear weapon technology. My Martian colonies also begin producing warships.
