It uses a rather bulky 512-bit memory rack that allows for 8x8x8 shapes. You can make your own shape by simply drawing every layer inside a memory rack (it's mirrored compared to what is actually printed; filt=voxel, spng=empty space).

    Love how every side is 2^3 cubes so you can use three binary counters for row, column and layer.

    I think it would be useful if the memory starting blank rather than full. Most people will think about what they want to add, not remove.

    The glass edge of each layer needs to go down one extra pixel. But man, this is awesome!

    @LBPHacker: Those pistons just won't work together in one frame without breaking each other. That's the main reason why it's so painfully slow. Also, as you may have noticed, I am quite inept at making complicated electronics.
