We are back, refurbished and with new ideas. Read all of our old discussion on the forum under a topic called Evolution in a video game! Anyways the main plan is to create small bots that eat to survive, reproduce, and then change (genes). Check list.

    id:1916242 I made a farm of these. :DD I've built in the avoid-collisions-module discussed before, so they can avoid each other.

    how about using this as a gene module too? There could be detectors around it, which would send different signals to replicators depending on gas compositison.

    After conducting a few tests, it doesn't do anything different with different gasses.

    The whole point of the gas genome was to make the bot move differently if different types of gas were used, so if it doesn't, we shouldn't check off the gene module yet. Unless my working one counts (It should).

    It does, but with the current design, it will try to avoid it.

    Also, it only works in 0 G, so it can't work in proximity of GRVT. Great job though!

    Haven't tried that, maybe it changes direction differently w/ co2 or boyl
