also because mars is heavy 10% the mass of earth nuking it to slow it down is not going to work

Ammonia will combine with the Co2 to make oxygen or something like that

Ok, slam it into the prograde-facing side of Mars (it will push it retrograde) to help lower its orbit some more. I also start my own ARM program.

Kevino, we aren't allowed to have nukes greater than 50MT. and I feel like that would only move it's orbit SLIGHTLY and just make a giant crater in the planet.

there is no "easy way" to give mars an EM field

ammonia is a fantastic greenhouse gas and will warm mars

Also, what would be the best way to give Mars a magnetic field?

also my craft for ARM finds a suitable 80000 tonne asteroid and starts its 1 year mission to capture it in LEO

Why ammonia? Are you running out of bleach? And if we do decide do terraform Mars, I will detonate a 150 megaton bomb to push Mars retrograde, lowering its orbit and warming it slightly. I will do this once a year, and it will also help melt the poles.
