It's not quite as cool, and unnecessarily large at that, but the stickman is kept at a comfy ~30c, with neither insulation nor cloned liquid nitrogen to keep the drop pod cool.

    Doesn't anyone know that a heat sheild should be as blunt as possible to increase the size of the shock wave? It's counter-intuitive, but it works. That said, this is really cool! I made a realistic capsule that I subjected to 2000 degress (past normal reentery temps), and the inside was stable at whatever temp I set it to. Turns out TTAN blocks ambient heat.
