Minecraft probably doesn't use what I'm referring to though. It does use 4-dimensional noise, but probably Perlin. Simplex is what I was referring to, where in four dimensions, you have a 4-dimensional grid and you squash it along the diagonal to make it triangular rather than square. You could even do this in an infinite number of dimensions though too.
And marxsoul1, when you add "technically" to that, it makes even less sense, since again, you could have an infinite number of geometric dimensions.
"time is the fourth dimention" That is actually dependant on who you ask. This is referring to a 4th geometric dimension, as is a lot of things. Minecraft uses 4-dimensional geometry for terrain generation, where it needs to get a 4-dimensional diagonal line and adjust 4-dimensional angles. Cool, right? I know some of that stuff, but I've never finished writing the code for that completely.
i dont get it, its a cube with a cube inside it and lines connecting the 2, and marxsoul1 is right, time is the fourth dimention
Technically, Time is the fourth dimension
Cool, but was somewhat difficult to understand where this each line, you should to put an alternative version, colored, to facilitate the visualization, I made for you id: 1861014 (use if you wish)
is it a cube in a cube in a cube all conneted
