    Maybe. The Charulians aren't the type to join large groups like that though.

    Hey TNP, do you tihnk it would be a good idea to form a federation in this galaxy, I just think that things would get underway faster that way.

    Yes, you just need a ship that is capable of doing it. It would need a very advanced ftl drive. If you have one of them, just go to other galaxies whenever it makes sense that you could. (eg: Don't go to the other side of the universe just because you made your first intergalactic transport)

    Alright, but is there any way to move between galaxies? That would make this have a LOT more depth and interaction.

    No large galactic empires have attacked this galaxy. There have been small invasions, but nothing that would make a major impact. Large empires seem to stay away from here anyway, an alliance between them and someone here so strong that they would invade because of it seems extremely unlikely.

    Also, whose to say that a faction from another galaxy, say the Korlorians..., never sent our a long range comunications array that just happened to go here and now are able to send backup to any allies they may have made... Other than you, of corse.

    Yes, but they were trying to conquer the galaxy at the same time as them. If one of them had beaten the Dreii they would be in the same situation.

    were there as many species//factions as there are currently, and were they of the same average tecnological level as the Dreii?

    That wasn't the case with the Dreii, as soon as they took control they had so many ships that they would be able to defeat the entire galaxy if it rebelled. There are even more undefended resources this time.
