  As the tacterians slowly go in, They begin destroying colonies, However distress signals from said colonies migrate throughout GSB, Notifiing everyone of the attack, The tacterians soon see that they dont need quite as many forces, so the draw there more powerfull ships back. They also invade more slowly, as to ensure that nothing is really left, Floratorsat is one of there prime targets, and they have already put down a base there.

  Lol lots happened since I was last here, I'm back now though and the Eularians are sening out colonization parties with escorts to try and create a foothold of a few systeams to weather an attack, should it come. (By that I mean when explosivepowder starts attacking, unless he already has...)

  explosivepowder: Invading everyone is likely to make it more inactive because everyone dies before even discovering interstellar travel. Perhaps you could start going for the resources in the centre instead, while the Charulians help everyone else.
