It looks not good now...But i will pay attention to it until it become good~

For reasons, I developed my own bot called "Monster". It is larger than most of the bots used here (hence the name), and its movement circuits are slightly more compressed. Only problem it suffers from, is it requires a "package" system to fix one of the directions, which proceeds to self-destruct in a collaterally damaging way.
-
If you made a self contained brain msaterisk then that's a breakthrough! I'll make subject 2 be your bot

Sorry I've been gone for awhile. I can't look at your stuff because I'm typing this remotely on my phone. But when I can (tomoorw) I will implement your tests links. (kike200 and or ptuniverse

It would be interesting if it were ever possible to make a 60 Hz PSTN moving creature with a FILT 'genome.' But it would probably take more space/particles to store the genes than the genes can encode. Gene replication can be a single one go instruction though, and each FILT encodes 3 to 4 particles.
-
I just realized... to evolve, the creature should change its programming (or something) instead of its physical structure, so that it wouldn't break. That could work. And until it can reproduce, copy+paste will suffice for experiments
-
well... there's no fitness test is there? I can't think of a way of punishing bad behavior and rewarding good (no culling of dangerous/unwanted actions through death)
-
you'd need a mod for it atleast

Sorry to break your fun guys, but making an AI that can replicate and evolve in TPT is probably impossible due to how the game is made.

I have finished the self-contained brain, it actually works pretty well, runs rather fast, and almost never dies. No sensory input, but it actually doesn't need it. I'm still working on it though!
