i find the best way to run it is to set fuel rate to 4 at the beginning, then leave it to stabilise at 3 once the water begins boiling.
just click the + button once or twice. it is designed to be able to melt down if you over run the reaction. there is a small indicator above the + - buttons to show fule setting.
Sandwichlizard: A part of the GLOW tank melted when the water started to boil. Did i use the machine wrong or is it a general error?
@Technomancer. I have studied the phenomena a bit more and compared my counters to mecha-man's as well. it seams we all do that. it is an artifact of timing that you miss seeing some values during continuous sparking. However the counts appear to be correct as I manually counted the sparks going into the device. you are correct in what you saw.
@Technomanceer. Thanks. What your seeing is just the rollover. your "F" stepping thru and seeing it between spark cycle. if you give it one spark at a time you will see it never stops at 10 between 19 and 20, or any other rollover for that matter. again thanks.
Sorry for double post, just to make you aware that the counter glitch isn't specific to the 'tens' digit. When passing 100, it counts '98, 99, 90, 001, 102'.
Very nice. I did notice a glitch in the spark counter, it doesn't update properly when passing multiples of ten. So it counts 18, 19, 10, 21, 22 and so forth. Other than that, extremely good and +1
@blackantimatter. I would love to see it.
