In the book at the center of the earth there is a miniature sun and apparently nazis have set up a base there after Hitler ordered an Antarctic expedition. It's called New Germania -
Lord_Bowserinator 30th Dec 2014The hollow earth theory is interesting, the series "Tunnels" is based on it. I would recommend reading it (The theory makes sense (finally) in the last book) although each book is around 550-640 pages long, and it's like a 6 or 8 book series

This theory would not be a ring world, as we live in a 3 demensional world, not the two demensional world of The Powder Toy. It would still be a sphere, yet we would not be ableto see out, or be able to see in. -

well if this was around a large enough planet you could use centrifical force to keep everything on the ground
