Since it seems my comment was deleted, I'll post it again. The truth is, we don't have this much trash laying around. In fact, the only place you'll find trash are in cities or on the sides of congested highways. On top of that, many Americans don't like McDonalds, or, for that matter, fast food in general. Also, most of our states are completely covered in trees/forest, desert, or other types of flora. Awkward?
